    I just brought mine yesterday.
Paid £199 (-10% discount) mines white gold shaped band with a little diamond row in.
My E.ring was over budget so it was a compromise.
H2B ring is a titanium one as he can't wear a ring for work so we didn't see the point of paying too much for his.

Also with a shaped ring I can get an eternity ring over the top at some point too :)

£400 should be plenty if you don't want any stones or anything. We both just want plain bands and aren't going to spend a lot on them. Ours will probably be £100-£200 overall

Kelbel check with your local h of Samuel as we got ours when they were doing a special "wedding day" and got 10% off, it's not a national thin though so you won't find the details on their website site, each store does it at a different time so it'd be worth asking when it is coming up in your local one. xxx

I hated Sm00ch and found them really over-priced and i thought they looked cheap.... i wanted a plain gold wedding band slightly shaped round my e-ring as they wanted £400 and would need to post if away for 6 weeks. Went to Jelwerry quarter in birmingham so went to jewlwerrs directly and they took a model of my e-ring there and then while i waited, then knocked me up a silver model for me to try, fitted perfectly round my e-ring then took 4 weeks for gold band and grand total of £125. Complete bargin and shows how expensive sm00ch were for the same thing.... if your having diamonds in it then will go up in cost but defiantly go straight to jewelers and not home companies as sales reps make money somehow?!

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a ring for my skinny, long fingered hubby to be please? He wants something like a titanium narrowish band but the only places we can find them all start at a size P and he is an M so they have all said it would be too many sizes to make it smaller :-(
we cant really afford to have them done by Smooch and places like that annoyingly.

Completely will depend on your preference Im getting mine done with th€ p€rfect ring c0mpany as need bespoke fitting and have a design in mind which they can do for me :) it's the only way could get h2b 2 wear a ring was 2 give him the power to design. I put more money aside from the budget for them as I want it to be good quality and last so cut back on other aspects of the day. It's all about prioritising everyone has different priorities for there big day. I'm sure you can get a ringsm for 400 would, d just depend on what you where after e.g. metal sparkles thickness of band as the thicker the band the more metal..higher the price.. when it comes to rings feel I no a lot its everything else I'm struggling with :)

We got ours from F Hinds - husbands was £325 and mine from what I remember, was around £300 or just under. We looked at Samuels and also Ernest Jones (where I got my engagement ring) but I'd already seen mine online from Hinds. Hubby took the longest to choose (that's why we visited all the different shops lol) but in the end he chose from the same shop as me (but not matching). Pics on my profile.

Sounds lovely! We found a lovely man to do ours, he works on recommendations mostly, no shop so no overheads, he meets people at a local bridal shop that love him to show people his displays etc. He's really cheap and he designs the rings for you personally! So I'm getting my H2B made specially for him to match the design of another ring that I got him years a go when we first moved in together! So excited! I didn't think I would ever manage to find the same design in yellow gold, everything's always in white lol!

My hubby went to town and bought me a 1ct diamond engagement ring in yellow gold, so when it came to the wedding ring I wanted a plain yellow gold band, so as not to take away from my diamond.
My wedding ring is 2mm wide and cost .....drum roll.....£50!
Its not a thin cheap & tacky looking ring either, its quite a heavy ring, but was cheap because its only 2mm.....but I thought if 2mm is good enough for the future queen of England.....its good enough for me.....(hers probably wasnt £50 though! ) LOL

£400 should be plenty. We budgeted that and ours came in at even less and I even managed to get one with sparkle in which I didn't think would be possible for that price. We went to a particular high street jewellers that had half price sale on (not sure if they still have) so it worked out really good. If you want to know where it is, i can post it on your wall hun? xxx
