when i announced to my parents we were getting married they were over the moon and my mum said i have your great nans wedding ring which she (being my mum) couldnt wear as she was already married when she was given it by her mother.. anyway she asked me if i would like it as she said her nan would be so proud of me!!! (tears in my eyes) lol.
I told my mum i would love to and it would be a great privelage and so i will be wearing a wedding ring passed down to me and i was woundering if anyone else has had a family wedding ring passed down to them and wether you'll be wearing it from your big day!! xx

aw thats lovely, unfortunately my nana wasnt close to mum (a lot of bad things happened). But h2b has been given his grandads cuff links which is lovely n made his day, he was proper cheesing when i came in from doin the suits today (altho that may have somethin to do with the beer he 'didnt' have :oP) x
lol arh bless him huni.. well my nan had her mums ring when she died and my mum asked if she could have it as something to remember her by and by the time my nan had given it to her my mum had already got married and thought her nan would approve of handing it down to me!! so sweet.. i really love my mum xxx
