Ladies I wondered if I could get your thoughts???

would you employ someone to research your ideas/ things that match your colour schemes/ suppliers in your area etc etc? my plan would be to take the stress out the planning stages, you would give me areas you wanted researching and I would do all the hours and all the leg work then preset you with ideas, photos, contacts etc. would this be a service anyone would be interested in?

I hope oped this is not taken as advertising as I don't actually have anything to advertise yet I am just sounding out ideas at this stage!

Personally I wouldn't pay someone to do that, weddings cost enough as it is and I know it takes time and can be stressful, but I actually enjoy doing all the research ect.

No, personally I wouldn't. Besides the fact that it would be just another person trying to make money out of my happy occasion (sorry no offence to you meant) it would kind of take a lot of the fun out of planning a wedding. I enjoy researching ideas , themes etc

No, the research part is my favourite - I used to work for a promotional merchandise company as well as in the supply chain dept for another company and love finding/designing different products then sourcing suppliers and negotiating costs with them. I'm viewing my wedding as a brief from a marketing company like I used to get except I don't have to make presentations to myself!

I think the best part of the wedding planning is the feeling of achievement you get every time you get another thing crossed off the list after all the hard work but that's what makes it your special day all the care, attention to detail and effort you put in
I wouldn't pay someone to do something I can find on the internet plus there's plenty of free tips, help and advice on sites like this

I love the research part. It's the spending monet part, that kills me :) So you would be taking all my fun away lol
But I can imagine some ladies would be interested.

There are those who hire professional wedding planners, but I'm with the others; I've loved every bit of the planning, including the research. I can imagine that people who work long hours every day and have money to spare would take an offer like that though. Some people do go for wedding planners on the grounds that they simply don't have time to do all the work themselves, or they actually can't face it.
