I am thinking about making a powerpoint of photos of me and H2B to play on a loop during our evening buffet/ party, I think this would be a nice touch but just wondering peoples thought's on this? There would be quite a lot of photos but would it get boring once it's looped a few times? Has anybody done this? If so what responses did you get?

I think it's a lovely idea :) I don't think it would get boring at all. It's not as if anyone is going to sit and watch every single photo so they will probably catch different photos throughout the evening. xx

My brother did that at his wedding after the service, while tea and cake were served. It won't get boring, as people won't stand and watch, they'll keep glancing at it and dip in and out. We're putting lots of photos of us at different ages on some boarding in the church that is blocking off an organ waiting to be assembled. I figured there's nothing we can do about the boarding, so we may as well make a feature of it.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

We are having a sideshow too but it's provided by our photographer who makes a sideshow of the wedding photos he's shot up to that point. It was the main reason we booked him! :) x

I will be doing this :) Basically by the entrance of the reception room in the museum we will be having slide show on giant walls of pics of us when we were kids with our families and friends and showing it as we grew up and then in the room we will be having food we are having a power point with pics just of our families weddings so his parents, my parents and stepparents and grand parents and so on :)

I'm loving this idea - I knew people did this but never really thought about it in much detail before. May have to ask our venue if they have the facilities to do this for us x

I also think it can be a talking point especially if some pics involve people there and of course who sadly can't be there :)

Yes definitely! Would remind people of memories and then they could talk about it and reminisce :) lovely time to reminisce about happy memories at a wedding and when family and friends are all together x

I think that is a lovely idea! Or you could even get all of the photo's together of you and your h2b that you already have printed out and maybe put them in frames either in a specific place in the venue or dotted around the venue so that they can be seen from everywhere. You could even DIY a photo backdrop set up behind the top table with photo's of you and h2b hung on strings. The powerpoint idea is really nice though, and I don't think guests will get bored of it. Especially if there are lots of photo's x
