Is it really hard to message me back with an address so they can get an invite to the wedding??

Family in law, who don't even know who I am when I contact them, despite having been to many family events, invited them to my engagement party [most of whom didn't turn up] and having been around for nearly 6 years!!!! And it's still etiquette to invite them to the wedding!!

I wouldn't expect all my h2bs family to know who I am. But if you do then I wouldn't invite them, especially if they haven't accepted invites in the past. X

Mate! I am having the same problems!

I initially just wanted sodding e-mail addresses to send the Save the dates! But even that seems to difficult a task. I am not on facebook and would hate to ask on there anyway but seriously! It doesn't take much to reply to a text!

Awwww I'm dreading getting addresses :-/ I text my aunties in law more than h2b does lol and his cousins should be very easy, it's my flipping family I'm dreading !! My aunties no prob, but my cousins could be a pain..... Fingers crossed they won't be as pain in the bum-ish as I'm imagining lol xxx

personally I wouldn't invite them... some of my family will not be invited to my wedding because I never see them, don't have relationships with them and I am not paying for them to be at my special day just because they are related to me. I would rather replace them with close friends!!!
My oh has some family who I have met but they never seem interested in getting to know me, he has put them down on the list so we shall see what happens there!!! xx

I have this problem with one of h2b's friends, wrote him out a save the date and am very picky about wasting save the dates and invites after we've paid for them and took the time to write them out. Anyway one of his friends, we needed an address for, so asked h2b's best man who also knows this friend. Best man messaged back saying the friend asked h2b to text him and gave him the number. So h2b text him.... no reply..... few weeks later, finally a reply (with no address) and chatting, as soon as h2b asked him again for an address....... no reply again. It's now been like a month with no reply. H2b says he's apparantly always like that, but it's just frustrating xxx

Mines the opposite I'm ticked off with my mil, she has family who live in Devon whom we went to their daughters wedding in June, first time I've met the daughter, it was a nightmare of a weekend h2b was ill, my dress broke, it rained and mil barely said two words to me ( usual crap I put up with lol) their wedding was amazing! We asked her for their address to invite them to our wedding she said they won't come? How does she know! Atleast send them an invite so they can decide for themselves.
