Hi everyone, I need your opinions!!

My friend went to a wedding recently and when she sat down at the table for the meal she had a raffle ticket in her wine glass. Each table had a different coloured raffle ticket. After the best man speech they started a raffle. One person on each table won a prize, such as a clarins gift set, a bottle of champagne, perfume etc!!! What do you think? She thought it was a really nice touch and I really liked the idea, but i am starting to wonder if it is a bit cheesy??

I love this idea. I went to a wedding 2weeks ago and instead of favours the bride and groom donated £ to charity so in the middle of each table there was a present wrapped up with a note saying unwrap the first layer to reveal more. After the first layer it had a question like "who do u think will be the first on the dance floor later? Whoever the parcel is passed to they unwrap the next layer and pass it to the person who best suits the next question which was "who do u think took the longest to get ready this morning"(which was passed to me lol) and so on and so on.....the last question asked who do u think will be first at the buffet table later and when the parcel was unwrapped it was a box of chocolates and a scratch card!!! I thought it was a brilliant idea and had the whole table in stitches!!!! I'm trying to think of something for mine now and the raffle sounds brilliant!!
