I am marrying the love of my life on 15 August 2015, we will have been together 19 years and 2 weeks by the time we get hitched.

Church Reception venue Photographer My dress, free thanks to competition. (still got to choose one though so off to try some on on Saturday) Guest list is done Colour scheme is sorted Bestman (OH brother), bridesmaid and MOH (our daughters) have been picked and our son is walking me down the aisle.

I have to pick the style and size I want then the designer will send me the dress 3 months later. Have narrowed it down a bit but am going to try on similar dresses tomorrow to decide which shape suits me best then order a smaller size because I need to drop a couple of dress sizes.

Mrs C2B... you could end up setting yourself up for failure if you do that and you may not lose the weight in all the places you want to... go with the right size now as they can adjust down a couple of sizes... pressure sometimes isn't a motivation and can aggravate the stress of it.
I have ordered the dress in the size I was and so I know that it will look right should I not lose any, but if I do all the better and it can be adjusted!!!
And we lived happily ever after!

My dress is being ordered in a smaller size, but they have said if i don't lose as much as i plan, they can put in a bigger pannel but im not keen on that so it gives me more determination to lose it!

Super over-excited today ladies, my dress is in the warehouse awaiting delivery. Hoping I will love it as much when it gets here as I do in the pictures.
Also decided on the style of invites we want, so will be making the STDs soon ready to send out in January.
We have also chosen cars so now just waiting for quotes.
All in all quite a productive 2 days this week.

Got quote back this evening for the Chrysler 300c, complete bargain at £230, will be booking tomorrow. Struggling to source sashes for chairs as our venue provide chair covers only, ideally will be buying these rather than hiring.
Really need to start dieting again as I just can't seem to get motivated right now, hoping the arrival of the dress will kick me in the ar$e.

look on the bay of e for your sashes - they are probably cheaper on there than it is to hire them. i need to buy some to go with our trailing ivy on spiral staircases and they are really quite cheap x

Hi Becky, Have looked on there, problem I have is the colour lol. We are having lavender and everyone's idea of lavender seems to be different. I have already been caught out by this with ribbon. Trust me to pick an awkward colour. Have found some on Gumtr33 which look lavender but have been labeled as lilac so waiting for the seller to message me back.
Have also emailed the guy about the car today, so waiting for response there too.

Car is now all booked and my dress has arrived. Dress is beautiful but I definitely need to lose at least a stone to fit into it, just can't seem to find my diet mojo atm so will be going back to SW asap.

thats the thing buying stuff online, the colour differers from the picture, and everyone seems to give the same colour or different colours the same or different names. I have not decided on a colour other than Tardis blue, but there is about 4 different shades of blue for the tardis ranging from grey/blue , to a quite dark almost french navy to a royal/electric blue
