Not sure if I've posted this in the right place and I did try looking for something similar but couldn't find anything. Haven't been on for a while with moving and having to sort and unpack everything as still not got everything unpacked lol. But are plans to get married have now been delayed. We have managed to get a place of out own and have moved in together and have been since February. There is some good news but is the reason we are having to put the wedding on hold as we are expecting a baby in December so need to save up for that rather then a wedding. Really wanted to get married before having a baby together but glad I am pregnant. Has anyone else had to put there plans on hold as they are expecting a baby? I know we could still get married even though I am pregnant but had my heart set on a tight fitting dress and where my partner wants to get married is very expensive so have to put this baby first.

Ooh congratulations! I knew someone who got married at five months pregnant, and it didn't show on the day, but I think it's a good idea to put it off. She wasn't planning on getting pregnant, and it was a bit far down the line to postpone. Definitely I think you're wise to prioritise your finances, and deal with the wedding once you've got everything worked out. You could even have a very small flower girl or page boy.

I'm not yet pregnant but am having fertility treatment. We get married in April so it's very likely that we'll be doing both at the same time. I also have a tight fitting fishtail dress, however if I don't get to wear it it's not the end of the world. Doing both are extremely important to us. Everything will work out exactly as it's supposed to xx

Congratulations! I'd always dreamed I'd have babies after getting married, but didn't happen that way. But my H2B has been amazing and taken on my lil boy as his own. He'll be 2 n half when we get married!

Thank you everyone, I wanted to get married before ever having children really but never seemed to happen I've all ready got a 4 nearly 5 year old from a previous partner. My fiancé also has a 5 year old boy from a previous relationship too. And have a boy on the way really hopes for a girl as having 3 boys round now make me crazy at times but maybe next time lol. xxx

Yes we delayed our wedding as we had our little girl who's now 17 months! I'm glad we did as it made us re evaluate the type of wedding and now I'm much happier the type of wedding we are planning to have and now I have my boys as page boys but the added bonus of a flower girl :)
