The venue will have it sorted. Why don't you ring them and ask who will be taking over your wedding?

The greatest thing you'll ever learn
is just to love and be loved in return

Definitely find out who your point of contact will be now. That she's waiting for someone to take over is a bit worrisome.

I would also make sure that she has all of your agreements in writing, and I would ask her for a copy just in case they mysteriously get lost in the take-over.

I am sure the venue will ahve a protocol in place to cover something like this? But yes get something in writing and confirm who will now be dealing with your booking ASAP.

Do they have someone to take over her role. Ask if you can meet the new person or if not the manager, just so you can get some reassurance. X

i would keep in regular touch with the venue, and then they can't forget about you. plus you will then know as soon as the new organiser comes in. I am sure they will get someone in soon to replace the lady who has left.

    xx
