Hey all,

Writing this as a TL/DR:
Wedding planner ended up being just a decor guy who; pressured my OH into going to a venue of his choosing, can't actually get the decor we want after we've paid deposit, ripped us off on the deposit itself when I found actual prices going direct to venue, was reluctant to transferring the venue deposit to another venue (both venues owned by Hilton and they said it's okay), and now we've found out the booking was in his own name and not mine.

We want to get rid of him but fear that he won't transfer it into our name if we do. Are we completely screwed?
