I ran a search for this but didn't come up with anything.

I was just wondering what jobs you give your wedding party on the day of the wedding. I have 3 adult bridesmaids (inc MOH) and we have 3 ushers and a best man.

I know the best man holds the rings and both MOH and Best Man are being our witnesses, but then other than help with calling people for photographs I don't know what to tell them to do!

Please help!

zoeeeee i was wondering that myself yesterday i was thinking about my page boy and wondered what he would do and if i really need one, other than walking with my flowergirl down the aisle (thought that would be cute as when i get married they both will be 4)!!

I'm kinda in the same boat and was thinking baout this. I have 3 adult bridemaids including MOH, 1 best man and....wait for it....5 ushers! Having a civil cermony, so i guess a couple can give out button holes to guest (100 so lots to get through), a couple can help direct people from the car park to our ceremony room (bit confusing as to which way) ummmmmm........we're giving each family/couple sky lanterns so they can give those out to people.
Other than the above i'm a bit stuck as to what else there is for them to do.

I think I'm a bit of an oddity as the ushers are on my side (although they are male, which wasn't the original plan) and the groomsman is really a bridesman (my brother)... All G has is his Best Man.

Bridesmaid duties:
Helping keep me calm.
Helping to herd the flowergirls and page boy (although their mothers will also be helping with that).
Assisting with toilet, dressing and the quick change early evening (if G isn't helping with that, which he probably will).

Bridesman duties:
Lacing all the corsets on the morning of the wedding.
Opening and pouring the champagne for me and the girls.
Building the cake with the Father of the Bride.
Possibly helping to build the photobooth.

Best Man duties:
Keeping G calm and sober (my alcohol tolerance is higher than the two of them put together).
Bringing the rings from the safe at G's parents.

Ushers duties:
Helping marshall guests to their seats.
Keeping an eye on my dad to make sure that he doesn't get drunk/stoned and burst into tears (and escorting him out of my sight if he does).

Don't know about particular jobs but make sure one of your bridesmaids has a SOS bag on the day with spare tights, nail glue, eyelash glue, make up, deodrant wipes, clear nail varnish incase your spare tights ladder, super glue for heel breakage, flat white pumps rolled up incase you just can't take your killer heels anymore, lipgloss, hair pins etc! = D xxx

i have 2 senior bridesmads. my sis and best mate so they are both moh's, best mate is a makeup artist so her major role is to mke sure my make up is PERFECT all the time :) (having 2 junior bridesmaids...)
sis's job will be to get everyone up on the dance floor!!
There will be 3ushers and a best man, ushers can direct people to seats and act as bouncers hah! xx

MOH is organising my hen do, helping me get into my dress, and keeping my calm!
Bridesmaid1 (sister) is event organiser so will be helping with venue decoration.
Bridesmaid2 has no jobs - her only job is to get to my mum's house on time ... been having a hard time with her.

Best Man is organising stag do, and will be in charge of the rings.

MOH's husband is driving us to the venue
Bridesmaid1's husband is master of ceremonies

kate its useful to have one at leats if not u need a person that sits people down in church at rite side! and gives out oos
