Ok so i really feel bad... but i just sent an email to the venue we're meant to be having our reception at saying as the ceremony room is in with the package deal and we're not having the ceremony there and in a church.. is there any chance in replacing it with something else or a slight reduction for not using it... I wouldn't of asked only i read someone else's forum the other day and they managed to get a slight reduction as a dj was in with their package deal and we g bre going to have a band instead.
Should i have felt guilty or am i well in my rights to have sent it cause i am scared of what their gonna come back with.. i don't want them to say cheeky sod GET LOST! lol

dont feel bad, you are not using that part of the service so why not see if you can get some money back, fingers crossed you will x

We same as you but what we done is ask if we can have the welcome drinks in the room the service was to be in as it's a different room for the brackfast and evening do also we ask to change the finger buffet for fish and chip cones and they said that's fine, so we still using the 2 rooms in the package and change the evening meal, like what been said if you don't ask you don't get,

that seems unfair saying no, youre paying for something you wont be using, they should give you soemthing back or something in place if you ask me!

I suppose she cant actually use it for anything else, so its a dead room for the day, but they should really have a with room and without room price.
re going to have a band instead.
