I plan to get married outside in the UK...yes am i mad??! When do you all think is the best time? At the moment i have May in mind (end of). The venue we have chosen has a stunning area outside where you can marry, i've never seen anything like it apart from in the movies so we have our heart set on it. Its really important that it does not rain! I know this can never be guaranteed but i'm hoping to choose a time of year when its least likely to happen.

Very brave, but could be beautiful! I'd love an outdoor wedding! Probably april/may or september time would be best as even if the weather isn't great, there shouldn't be as many rainstorms or muggy weather! Are you having a marquee? x

My brother and his wife were married out side on the 25th of June last year! xxx
Oxfordshire, so south. I don't mind if its a dull cloudy day, just as long as it doesnt rain! We are having a marquee for the reception. If it does rain, we have to wed inside the Garden Room which isn't as nice as the beautiful grounds, it doesn't compare x

i think may/june would be the best time usually dry at that time!

I'm having an outside wedding as well! I'm going for early august :S so a bit fifty fifty on whether it will rain or not :/ We're looking at two venues atm, one where everything will be moved inside if it rains (not what I want really), and another that has a marquee so it doesn't matter if it rains, they even cover the ceremony area in case of rain, so it's all guaranteed to be outside which is really important to me.
My only advice is hope for the best, buy some pretty bridal umbrellas just in case, and make sure you have a plan B!
Breathe in, breathe out...

I think its variable every year so no month is better than another - i'd just keep my fingers crossed and like the others said - have a good plan B
There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

You're brave and it does sound lovely, maybe just have a plan B just in case it rains? If you have a plan B then it's less likely to rain and you'll have a perfect warm sunny day xxx

I generally feel that the weather is better in late spring and early autumn than in summer.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
