i'm staying in the complimentary suite at our venue but i don't think it's all rose petals and champers tbh i'll be that pooped all i'll be bothered about is a) it has a bed and b) a bath to soak my feet in, in the morning or maybe c) a personal alarm clock to get me out the hotel by 10 lol

Our venue is giving us the honeymoon suite for the night but like the others have said im probably going to be too tired to care what it looks like....
on the other hand if you want to make the most of a night with the kids away why dont you try putting lots of candles in the bedroom (and maybe bathroom if you want a soak together), getting some nice music ........

We had the honeymoon suite at the venue.

Didn't really appreciate it on the night, but the next morning it was lovely to wake up in. Then making the marriage 'official'.

We didn't drink the champers, but had it on our first month anniversary.

We are having the honeymoon suite at the venue, but like everyone else has said we will probably be too knackered to appreciate it that night especially with the size of the dress im wearing all day lol. The next day we are going out for a big family meal and then staying at the airport hotel before flying out the next day (hopefully), my mum is having the kids at ours for us so we dont have to worry. x

    Hiya,

Not sure what we are going to do yet. Mainly because our reception is in a restaraunt. So not a hotel.

There is a new hotel being built literally 100yrds from the venue. But its like pulling teeth to get any info out of them coz it isnt finished and they are annoying me by not even giving me a price.

So I think we might end up just going home. Mainly because there are not really any 'nice' hotels within a close proximity to our venue and I really dont see the point to paying money in taxi etc to take us to a hotel. We might has well go home-which will be free! hahaha. Personally I would love to stay in this new boutique hotel but i am loosing faith now.x

You could do rose petals on the bed with some nice satin bedsheets and get some rose scented candles round the room and some flowers in nice vases... also put a nice box of chocolates on a dresser. Scatter a few crystals on the table tops to make it really pretty.... and make sure you each have big fluffy dressing gowns for the morning. Oh and you could do breakfast trays the day before the wedding, over them and put them in the fridge so you can have a nice breakfast in the morning! :) xxx

We are going to book into a nice hotel for the night as our reception is at a hall we are hiring, don't fancy sleeping on the floor, lol. I am actually really looking forward to swanning into the hotel in my dress, h2b is really going to have to fight to get it off me! As for decorating your own room if you are doing that, just the usual, petals, champagne, strawberries ooh or maybe ice cubes(love it), candles, subdued sexy lighting and maybe massage oil, if you aren't too drunk to be bothering with the 4play! lol. x

Kinda abit off topic. But how many of you think you will be erm 'consumating' the wedding on the actual wedding night?
I want to but think H2B will be too drunk to even get his shoes off. Let alone anythin else.

I have a dream about leaving the wedding abit early, then having abit of 'alone' time before the night is over.

What is everyone elses idea? x

i doubt will be consumate our marriage on wedding night although i have told h2b that i want to. i think he will be too drunk and we will both be too tired.

he gets a thumping pulse in his head when he has been drinking so cant do anything physical after a drink or it gets worse
