You poor thing! Weddings are so stressful.

My OH suffers really badly with anxiety and I did LOADS of research on natural remedies. In h011and & b@rr@t you can buy magnesium oil which you spray on your pressure points and it naturally helps with anxiety. If you don't want the oil, you can take the magnesium supplements. Lavender spray from 5up3erdrug is something that really helps too. Another thing that really helps my OH when her anxiety is really bad is blowing bubbles, sounds ridiculous, but it really works. Breath in for 4, hold for 6, then blow out and blow bubbles 8, it regulates your breathing, slows down your heart rate and because you're focusing on your breathing, it keeps your mind off what ever is stressing you out.

I really hope you find something that works for you!

Think I might need to go and get some of those Emma s whenever I think about the actual day I start feeling all funny, heart racing and start panicking. I'm not not a confident person as it is and all those people staring at me makes me feel so nervous. Hopefully will get better as got 7 months to try and get over it!

Hi Amy, it's a shame when anxiety and nerves get in the way! And I can understand the thought of all those people staring making it worse. Honestly those things I suggested have worked for my OH and she suffers so badly, like being physically sick with anxiety and they have sorted her right out! Start trying things now so your body can get used to it. But the breathing exercises with the bubbles are great at reducing your heart rate, when we started doing these things sometimes we would get up at like 3am just to blow bubbles.

Not sure what your habits are, but try and stay away from caffeine, as that causes your heart to race too.

Also have you tried chamomile tea, that is also really good and calming. If you don't like the taste, you can put a little bit of honey in.
