Do you mean for the main meal or for during the day? If it's for the mail meal then we had a sit down 3 corse dinner (as that is what we really wanted). Our venu offerd a menu tasting session so we chose what we wanted then. They caterd for Allergies and veggies with not problems. Then we had a evening Buffett (along with a home made sweet cart.) As for the drink every one has one glass of Buck's Fizz for the drinks reception then they had one glass of wine (red of white) for the meal. We had a tight budget so cut down on the drink. We didn't have canapés as I didn't think they were necessary and we didn't have the budget lol!
But I think it's intierally up to you what you have if you want a buffet wedding breskfast then have it or if you want a sit down meal then have that! It's what you want and what you budget will allow. Xx
