As I told u all earlier, I was MOH for my best friend on thursday. I just wanted to share with you what they had for their wedding breakfast and evening buffet coz I thought it was just brilliant. Their theme was america as they got engaged in vegas and are going back there for their honeymoon.

Starter - calamarie
Main - Burger in a bun with chunky chips
Dessert - Stack of pan cakes with choc sauce and ice cream

Evening food - BACON ROLLS! lol

I just thought itwas brilliant!

i love the bacon rolls hehehe i think theres a bride on here who has just got married who had bacon rolls at hers and everyone thought it was brillant :-)
it just prooves you dont have to spend a fortune to please your guests :-)

we're having for ours:

Main course: Beef and yorkshires
Desert : Chocolate Junkyard!

Buffet in the Evening: Sausage and Bacon Butties and Chips hehe!

we're having:

summer pea and ham soup or
tomato and gruyere tartlet or
pan-fried scallops

chicken, ham & leek filo parcel or
salmon and asparagus with hollandaise or
lamb shank with redcurrant & shiraz jus

croquembouche (profiterole wedding cake) with hot chocolate sauce

Later on we are having bacon butties

sounds fun, my friend had scotch pies and bacon rolls at hers, thye went very fast not a bit was left so some guests missed out lol but it was great, my hotel doesn't do them argh!!!
