    Hello too all.

I was just wondering which of you get you wedding magazines as I was in "every little helps" earlier and I wanted to get a magazine (decided upon getting a wedding one) but didn't really know which one to go for as they where all sealed up so I couldn't have a sneak peak.

So basically all I was wondering is which wedding magazines do you get and is it any good?

I don't know if this is just me but I brought two magazines the other day and they came to about 11.50 and I thought this would keep me going on my 5 hour train journey. But honestly I think they were rubbish I would probably save your money and use the web there are someone amazing ideas I just found the magazines to be full of advertisement... I couldn't believe how quickly I got thought them ... That could of brought 11 dairy milk bars on offer for that hahaha .xoxox

i am inclined to agree with little_88, i have bought quite a few (so really should have learnt) but im scared to miss anything lol, but i think they advertise designers/products that...lets face it are far to expensive for every day folk, i recon someone should devise a glossy mag purely from other peoples weddings....so brides to be and their other halves can mooch thru and see what looks great with what and how to re-create the ideas their own way. I do however love wedding flowers mag xx lovely ideas in there

Ha! Little_88 makes a good point, there's going to be so much advertising in mags when if you just google "wedding ideas" you'll get all sorts of ideas for all sorts of themes for free. I've never bought or looked at a wedding magazine but I imagine the content to be quite limited and all about what the most popular standard ideas for weddings are at the moment.

i have bought most of them at one point or another but i find wedding ideas and perfect wedding they are both small so don't take up much room in my hand bag and have loads of ideas that don't cost the earth plus they have lots or real bride weddings in . i think that some wedding magazines don't cater for the normal bride and think everyone has £20.000+ to spend on there wedding. i love wedding ideas and have actually taken out a year subscription so i don't miss anything lol x

i got a couple as presents from the girls when I got engaged and had to buy one or two myself cause it's the one time I can (sadly ended up buying a larger version of the smaller version my mate bought me and didn't even realise - that's how much they stood out for me!)

I must say everything I have found has been from online or on this forum. The magazines I find are all the same and as everyone else said a load of ads (most of which I could never afford). Good to look at one though but save money for the fun things ....

I've bought all of them at some point and must admit that most are useless. The one that I do buy every month though is wedding ideas, it's compact enough to carry around and I love the real weddings section.

When we first got engaged i tried them all but i LOVE weddings ideas magazine so my mum got me a years subscription. It is full of adverts but arent all magazines, not too expensive, handbag sized and i love the real wedding section as gives you some great ideas and they are from real brides and not companies selling you things. I have kept all my magazines since we got engaged and i put coloured tabs in the pages of stuff i like so can refer back to all the right pages. xx

H2b bought me a subscription to wedding ideas and I love it. The real weddings section is great. To be honest, I love all wedding magazines though. I don't ever buy things I see in them because they are far too expensive but I just enjoy reading them. After all, in a years time I won't be able to buy them anymore lol xxx

When we first got engaged I bought a few and my sister bought me one but then that's it. I like to look through at the pictures, mainly of the dresses and a few ideas but I'm happy looking on the net, more to see and a lot cheaper. Plus, this site is brilliant!
