    Hi
We are at a loose end. I have read endless magazine articles about wedding gift lists etc and people donating towards honeymoons. We will only have a small gift list as we live together already and have most of the 'usual' stuff! How have other folks gone about asking for money towards honeymoons? We are planning to travel New Zealand and Australia in a campervan for 8 weeks without going through any package deals. Does any one know any websites that will give the guest an option of buying from a wedding list or donating to the 'honeymoon fund'. Or I have heard about wishing wells at the reception, but how many people carry cheque books around these days?

    Many thanks folks

    Gemma

Our friends have done this just by setting up a bank account for honeymoon dontions- and therefore no commission to pay.

As for cheques- we recieved quite a few of these- we use them quite often actually.

for the wishing well you put a poem in your invites that tells people about it so they know beforehand about it
