Well, we've now completely changed our minds and are not having our wedding in Cyprus. Rather dissapointed but it worked out too expensive for our friends and family to come over so we are now having a rather large wedding in England!! Church is booked!! Reception venue is Booked!! and deposit paid!! Any tips for an cheap English Wedding? Im determined to still have an abroad honeymoon so want to cut costs as much as possible but still have a lovely day xx

We were going to get married in Italy then started talking to family etc and decided it would be better to get married in the uk. I originally wanted a simple small wedding which is why I wanted to go away. I'm now having a large wedding here. What month are you planning on getting married? If you get married in the winter or autumn then you can save yourself quite a lot of money. Another way of keeping your budgets down is to get married on a day other than a Saturday. This keeps the costs down for both the registrar and the venue in most cases. It is also easier to negotiate discounts with suppliers if it is not a peak day or peak season. You can incorporate a winter or autumn theme into your colours which are always beautiful xx
