I am in my room sorting through wedding stuff and martyn has turned round and said all this wedding stuff is gobbeldy gookand i have 2 years to plan it. Well i have only 22 months to plan and i panic and i need to make sure i have everything sorted before i need to. It is driving me mad. God help me i think i might kill him if him he is not in my good books any way today so he needs to behave

Well then tell him to leave me alone right now he is being rude. lol. I just want him to pick what he wants and leave the rest to me. i just want it all done so next year we can concentrate(sp) on the honeymoon planning. I cant buy any of the stuff unil i have saved for it. but at least i know what i want, and where to get it from

he can do a cuppa but neather of us drink tea. i might have to show him how to make toast. his mum and dad done all the cooking when he lived at home so never really learnt

He can assemble flat pack furniture but the other 3 hell no. I have only ever seen him use an iron once and he ended up burning his shirt. He cleans when i ''nag'' him to but then it is only a small bit.

If it's any consolation we've got 290 days to go - we have no reception venue because Ross can't decide what's going to be best, we no longer have a photographer, but that's ok because we've got aaaaaaaaaages to book one *sigh* and he refuses to look at suits.

How about setting up a wedding bank account, and transfering money there so its all in place for closer to the time?

im the same and want to start planning thing now!
we also have just under 2 years. but dont think men realise the stuff planning a wedding involves.
we are going to venue next week to confirm with them what we want.
not to worried about his suits just yet. just want the venue ready and waiting.
my h2b is a chef so im lucky (when he is home).
he does house top to bottom on his days off so i can have a day off as im home all day everyday due to being on maternity leave x

LOL tattiesoup. He can just about manage to do takeaway but refusses to ring them. I know i told him there are ladies on here not getting married for 3 -5 years yet and are planning and he was like why it only takes a month. I nearly killed him i told him to get out of my face. He then texted me and said sorry i didnt mean that in a bad way it is just we have to save the money first. I went and told him well that is why i am getting everything sorted now so then we know what we have to save, now help me or dont but i am doing this now

Well i have been talkin to sonia and i showed him her dress and stuff and he seems to like other people weddings

It not that i can show him stuff but all i get is a grunt and a grunt doesnt help me choose things. I have booked him the car he wants to take him to the wedding and he doesnt know as i am not telling him till he pays some sort of interest in the wedding. I told him he couldnt have it as we cant afford it but we can, LOL i am so mean some times

yeah but he is not going to find out about it till he starts planning the wedding. I mean even if he paid some sort of attention to the wedding i would be happy. He want the R8 car i have no idea but i emaled the man and told him and he said i can have it for 125 and i can have the bentley i want for 250. So i am a happy bunny

I don't think you can work all brands of man though. Some just don't have it in them. When we were decorating our flat he told me I could have any colour I wanted except pink. So I would show him a blue or yellow and he would say "No, that's too pink." Eventually I worked out that what he means by "pink" is "pastel".

Having established that all pale colours were out, I chose one strong colour for a feature wall in each room and painted all the other walls white. In each room all the accessories are matched to the feature wall. A while ago to test him I asked him randomly what colour the wall in our bedroom is - he didn't know. We've lived here almost a year.
