We're looking at it. 6 days til we hit the 2 year mark & can put it on cover - not that we've decided who to go with yet. Still looking & comparing prices...

still waiting for h2b to do it as this was his only job. Apparently he is going to do it soon now we have hit the 1 yr mark and he himself is worried about the financial stability of companies given the current revelations reg america etc as it will have a knock on effect here.... just hope he pulls his fingers out.

I'm not really sure, what to do, I've been looking at it and as has been said, I am worried about the state of things financial wise. I don't want anything to go wrong. I only intend to do this once and I want it to be perfect. xx

i'm not sure whether to go for it or not my other half is adamant we don't need it but i'm not so sure to be honest, the quote i got was only £16.50 so for that tiny amount i'm tempted.

i have tried to get insurance, but they way they take it from my bank account my bank keeps declining. Why they cant take payment straight away i don't know. I was quoted £18.00 which i didn't think was bad!!

I paid £28 for ours. It was the only place that covered us as we're getting married abroad then having a reception back here a month later. Most places will cover for that eventuality, but only if your reception is within 15 days of the wedding.
Still, I'd rather pay that for the peace of mind. Hx

All though credit cards are good would they cover you for other things like if you get made redundant or the wedding has to be cancelled for another reason?
And if the company that your receptions at goes bust are you covered for rearranging and the flowers and cake etc?
What about things like the dress and rings when they are in your possession?

We paid £53 for ours, which covers us for £10000. It would have been cheaper, but we add third party public liability, which means that if any of our guests had an accident and tried to sue us we will be covered.

we went with e&l too and cost about £35 , at the time it felt like a waste of money, but it did give me massive peace of mind......please, please, please ladies buy it, its a one off payment and can be tailored for your needs.

I have heard some awful stories about couples who havent taken it out and got caught....its not worth not having it when you are spending so much x x x

I really wanted to buy wedding insurance and H2B and me looked into it in great detail. With our wedding is just wasnt going to work out and the three major things that we needed covering they wouldnt cover us for. We are getting married in Guernsey then have hired a boat to get everyone to a little island next to Guernsey. I wanted coverage incase the weather was too bad to get to Herm but I could find anyone that would..

We paid about £50 for ours, this is a subject i am pretty clueless on. My sister is an insurance broker so does things like that for me. I didnt want to take the risk of possibly loosing the amount of money we are paying out for the wedding so as soon as started buying things insurance was taken out
