For everyone one who is unsure or not about wedding insurance, I would like to say that it is totally worth the money. I was unsure of weather or not to get it but my friend got married recently and 4 days before the wedding she went to collect her suits and the shop had gone bust. there was no warning or this happening and she had paid over 800 for the hire of the suits, which she has lost, but on top of loosing that money she had to pay out for a further set of suits at the last minute!

I will definatly be taking out wedding insurance!!! xx

I second that! There have been a lot of brides on here that have been stung with shops closing down on them so it is now more important than ever to get insurance from the point of handing over the first deposit to make sure that you are covered. For a 10k wedding it is only £30 so a clear investment to keep you safe.

Just google and you should be able to easily find a compare wedding insurance site to get the best deal for the amount you want insured. Depending on how much you want covered will depend on what company you are best to go with.

It covers what you've already paid, yes- as long as you don't try to claim for a problem thats already occured.

Have just googled it and a couple of websites say yes you are covered aslong as you are unaware of any circumstances that may give rise to making a claim when you take out the policy. Just incase anybody else was wondering. xx

It was one of the first things that we got. We saw it as possibly the best 20 quid we could spend. It's a no brainer really, especially in the current economic climate.
