i NEED HELP LADIES...ive only just thought of getting it as it never occured to me before but when I was looking at it...it doesnt make sense! Is it like getting car insurance, you pay x amount a month for so many months and then your covered adn at that what does it cover (obviously if you have to cancel) but anything else?
And what the hell is public liability?????

You may all think that Im the dumbest person asking the dumbest question but I really had never thought about it before adn as everyone on here is so nice and helpful im sure theres quite a few of you that will know all about it!

Is there ever a stupid question? Then it wouldnt be a question would it!!! :) x

You only need to pay a one off payment, not each month. You can also choose how much you want to be covered for (£2,000, £8,000, £15,000 etc), basically I'd say whatever your wedding budget is plus a bit more, in case you go over. Then the price is based on that. If you google compare wedding insurance you should get somewhere you can compare different companies for what you want. You're then covered for everything you put a depsosit down on. It could be a supplier going bust, bad weather and people not being able to get to you, or you having to cancel for some reason like broken limbs or a bereavement. I'd definitely recommend taking it out. Ours cost £91 and I think we're covered up to £15,000!

Also, there are a few threads on here about insurance already, do a search for it and that will probably be helpful!

    Hi Hun
You dont pay monthly, it is a one off premium that you pay (ours was £24)
It covers for quite a lot of things and eventualities
If you want i can put the link of our comany on your wall? They explain really well what it covers x

I'm struggling. The only thing I really need insurance for is my dress as it would cost much more than I can afford to replace. But every company I have looked at so far doesn't cover damage due to cleaning my dress.

That sucks...the only thing I can think of myself is maybe get it in writing from the cleaner when you do, saying that they will pay for the damage! But thats if they will. I vever even thought that far ahead!! x
