I'm slightly stuck, we've decided to marry in Antigua 2014 and family have agreed to come and pay for themselves and when we return we will have a reception. However I feel we should sent a save the date to people anyway to give them the opportunity to come if they wish to do so, but I have no idea where to even start with the wording any suggestions?

we just did a word processed letter/invite...made it look nice with a border and a picture of champange but basically it said robert and nathalie would like to invite you tel celebrate their wedding. The wedding will take place in Austria during late Janaury 2013. An evening reception in the Uk will follow a week later We would love for you to be there.
we then wrote on another pecie of paper with approximate prices, names of other hotels, free child places and all info..from that people could make up their own mind...

We're thinking of sending STD's with the date, location, reception bit and setting up a wedding website with all of the info on flights, hotels etc. Obviously family who we know are coming/specifically invited to come abroad we'll have more personal contact with so it won't matter if they don't use the website (older relatives etc). Then only sending out proper invites for the UK reception Xx
