I have a short Graduated Bob which is a stlye that always suits my face (I have a round Square type face) but I'm now wondering if I should start to grow it now....

I havent found my dress yet but as most dresses now are strapless I know my shoulders and neck will be very bare... Just thinking I might feel a bit more confident if I grow my hair a bit to cover my shoulders (my profile pic is out of date and my hair is about 4in shorter now)

If I do grow it I will probably end if cutting after the wedding as I do like my bob so thats why I'm wondering if I should grow it or not....

Any one else got any ideas of short bob wedding hair....?

Im going to have extensions in my hair as i like the curls but i also have a bob and like it short maybe speak to your hair dresser if you want to keep it short and see what they suggest you can still do lovely things with short hair

i have an asumetric bob and im thinking im might just have my hair normal and a small tiara with a small veil set back away from my face. I saw a girl on the wedding channel with short hair and a small tiar and she looked very elegant so thats what im having.
I dont suit long hair or hair up so im not going to change for a day that is supposed to be celebrating me looking my best.
Do whatever makes you look fab hun xxxx

Im going to have clip ons so i can take them out for the evening do (going clubbing changing my whole look lol) maybe go for a hair trail near you so you can talk to a hairdresser and get an idea of what you like? Shame you dont live closer to northampton i know a great girl up here that is doing my hair for a very cheap price compared to others and she is amazing! The clip on extensions are good they can clip them to the middle layer of your hair so it looks natural, i know i want extensions as my h2b likes curly hair but i want to keep it short (if its long i just tie it in a pony) and this way its the best of both he gets the elegant curls draping over my shoulders and i get to keep my short hair :)

Ive just had my hair cut to a shoulder length messy bob (think dragged through bush look lol) Will probably add some streaks or something before and just wear a simple tiara type headband. As much as i loved my long hair it was a mission to keep in constant good condition. If you prefer your hair short there are things you can do: flowers, slides hairbands etc etc, its just finding what you like through trial and error i guess (i know i know im not much help sorry) :)

I think she is worth it she has a natural talent can do anything and ive not heard a bad word about her, her prices are great to, if you are on facebook you could add her and have a chat with her see some of her pics and get some ideas? She just cut my hair and its fantastic its the first time ive had it like i wanted it and my mate had a hair trail and i didnt think she could do much with it as its not very long but she made her look stunning did like a beehive effect with curls down the side of her face was so amazing!

Steph - one of the girls in work with me has always had short hair (used to be a bob and now she has got a pixie cut) but she decided to grow it long for the wedding.

Had it cut straight after the wedding as she preferred her haid short and now she says that looking back at the pics it doesnt even look like her - she wishes she'd just kept her hair short as that is 'her style'.

Just something to think about - I have bob too which really really suits me and I was thinking about having long hair for the wedding but now i'm not so sure

I've had my hair all lengths and long hair is definitely more fun as you have more choice and you can play around with it more.

Maybe you could get extensions in as long as its not too short?????

..yep, i agree Kimi..you getta far better choice with longer hair..I like my hair longer and shorter..I just happen to be A) lazy re styling my hair B) work in an industry where longer hair gets ragged - so it was usually always up when longer - pointless really!

Hi hon, your hair sounds just like mine!! I've been chatting with my hairdresser and I think I'm going for the element of surprise and am going to have temporary extensions for the day. It will be wonderful to see scott's face when I turn up with long flowing locks xx

Hi steph i am a hairdresser and specialise in wedding hair and hair ext :) clip-ins are the best for a wedding because bonded hair ext are super expencive and really hard to look after esp on honeymoon! When i do a bride that is going away to get married i do a trial so we can try lots of diffrent looks then take photos of the ones that she likes. this means that you know you like the style and it gives the hairdresser you end up having more of an idea. Start looking now then you will know if you have to grow it to suit the style on the day. Dont cut it until you know what you are doing lol!! good luck x x

I had a graduated bob but started to grow it out about 8 months ago. It wont be long enough for the style I want, so I will have extensions, but I had to grow the back longer as it was very short and I wouldnt have been able to clip any extensions in.

I have a very shabby pixie cut, i wont be growing it for the wedding. I cant stand my hair long, and h2b doesnt like it either. My hair will be just the same as any other day, but maybe some flowers or a small tiara. xx
