Hello Ladies,

Looking for some advice in just over two weeks I will be attending my Brother in-law 2b's wedding, After going shopping with my Sil2b she helped me pick a dress, I am clueless when it comes to fashion and because I dislike my weight (not started diet yet) I usually hide in frumpy clothes however she chose a dress she felt I looked lovely in, I liked it to as is not something I normally wear so bought it. However I am really struggling to know what shoes to wear with it, I wanted a bold statement as I want to shock people in a good way but have no idea what will go with it and not look silly, so asking everyone's opinion on shoes please, also accessories :) will upload a picture of me in said dress, sorry it isn't a very good picture also the current shoes I am wearing was a first option but I know they DO NOT suit the dress I also will be investing in slimming knickers lol xx

You could go silver/pewter perhaps? With shoes and a fascinator?

I would go with a Bright fuchsia colour, for a pop of colour if you want to make a statement, otherwise Id go nude.... Can't go wrong with a nude heel, and youll wear them again. Pretty dress mind, and it looks great on you!

Not sure which of these two? Would not feel comfortable wearing a fascinator as very self conscious as I wear glasses 24/7 xx

Ooh hair slide sounds nice, my Sil2b suggested either up in a bun or half up & down with curls, my hair at current is very long and straight, looking at getting it trimmed but wary as I have a chubbish face and don't want to draw attention to my face shape but still look nice my Sil2b is advising a lot as I have no fashion clue what so ever didn't even know what slimming knickers were lol x

Ive chosen pewter ones hun as I think the silver ones are more bridal and I wear your hair down in curls with just a little bit scraped back from your face. Could you go and have a pamper session at the hairdressers in the morning? Xx

navy would go fab with that or even hot pink if you wanted to do a statement

If youre wanting to make a statement id defo go bold colours. If you can do pink, what about coral maybe? But id say any bright colour would go, and then get accessories in the same colour? X

Still not decided lol I have been using the paint option on my laptop so I can add the picture of dress and add shoes to dress that way and cant find anything that looks right lol x

ValentinaK - Starting a diet now will not have results in 17 days time, I have a lot of baby weight/bad eating weight to loose (although am only a size 16) it is not just going to come off in an instant, and it is not so much what I eat although is a big part but also because I am addicted to full fat coke-cola its the same sort of addiction like a smoker etc so at current I am mostly concentrating on weaning myself off that as that is more important to me than calorie counting food.

Thanks GemmaP11 :) its awful I have been addicted to it for so long I know it plays a big part in my weight as I would drink between 2 & 4 litres a day (the big 2ltr bottles or sometimes the massive 3ltr ones) :0 so made a start yesterday and so far have gone since half 4 yesterday with out any, I'm drinking sugar drinks still but that's only until I can manage without coke-cola then I can cancel out all sugar drinks, its difficult though as its causing headaches which is why its been so hard to stop but I am determine not to drink coke-cola xx
