Was just thinking there about the last wedding fair I went to. There were lots of beautiful dresses there, but as the day wore on the dresses had been pawed at by hundreds of B2B's looking for the biggest bargain.

Surely there is no bargain to be had though? All these people with their dirty hands all over the dresses... any saving you make buying the dress would almost definitely go on getting it cleaned would it not?

lol yeah you would have to be wouldnt you? If you buy a gown off the rail then I know alot of people couldve tried that dress on too but they're treated with care - the way I saw the girls grabbing at them I'd definitely not be buying a dress from a fair! x

I've not really considered my dress yet... I'd like to have it made just for me but I've got a lot of weight to lose first and intend to be nipped/tucked beforehand so not sure I'll have enough time left over! x

Well it's the boob area I'm concerned about... it's them that'll be getting nipped (and lifted)... not even sure if I'll go for an implant too... I suppose I'll know what I'm intending on doing by the end of this year so I would have time after all... woohoo! Made for me it is! x

I see what your saying, and although im going slightly off topic, i felt exactly the same with my rings....

We bought them from Argos (as dont wanna spend alot) but they had our sizes in
but i asked if we could have BRAND new ones, she asked why, and i said because you have
had lots of other brides and grooms trying them on...
    she did not grasp it...

I got new ones ordered lol....

becky - no but I've been doing a meal replacement diet which is so far working but I expect to be on it for a few months lol

Trisha - I never thought of that. I'm going to get my ring from Argos, I seen the one that I like there and I dont know about anyone else but I'm not bothered about spending alot on another ring when I've already got my engagement ring. I think mine is about £80 which is enough.

Think I might do the same when it comes to ordering xx

hi jill i got my engagement ring from Argos but did not think it though because i will have to buy a funny shaped wedding ring for it to fit without a gap..................so my H2B suggested i buy a lovely engagement/wedding ring 9ct white gold set i have seen for £319 in Argos instead that matches beautiful instead of paying a fortune for a shaped wedding ring.

s2bmrss - that's great hun x I've tried the ring I want on already (I know - sad) and was surprised to find it's a great fit with my square cut diamond on my engagement ring... so glad we dont have to shell out more cash to have less ring if you know what I mean xx

Trish... I'd be the same! I dont know how many times I've already gone over the venue brochure looking at pics, menus and drinks and I used to work there so I know what it's like already lol it's a bride thing isnt it although I think by the time I've got as little waiting time as you left I may be even worse lol x
