I've gone for ivory foam roses with diamante in the middle of them and gold butterflies. I've also had grass woven in and around them. I wanted a round ball rather than having a shower of flowers as I don't want to hide the detail on my dress.

have any of you seen wooden roses? my neice was bridesmaid a few months ago and she has got a wooden bouquet of flowers which i think are pretty awsome! she is 4 and plays with them all the time and they are near perfect (apart from she has pulled a few of the diamonte pins out) so im thinking of having them with being allergic to pollen so dont want real ones anyone and they can be painted any colour you like!

My florist is my best friend so I know we'll find something just right, but so far thinking of romantic red roses. Ed and I both love roses. They can smell divine, and I'm all about the senses! I'm wearing a pale gold dress and the bridesmaids will most likely be in a blue-purple, so the red roses will be a nice contrast. I want to keep flowers simple, but strong. Rich, warm colours. I can't really think of flowers until we get the bridesmaids dresses sorted. :-)

There was a bride on here not long married that had wooden roses and they looked amazing. I'm having foam ones as I want to keep my flowers rather than pay out all that money to watch them die.
