CommentAuthorSoon2beMrsHall
Yeah but you can buy the men something different. They dont have to be the same. Martyns bro wedding the ladies had little lip glosses with the date of the wedding on and the blokes had little keyrings with there names on

I bought personalised candles for my BM's and personalised plaques/tankards for other special guests. The candles were £1.60 and are gorgeous. Also, for my little princess's I bought a gorgeous little bracelet with their names on it and in my colour and a little teddy with their names on it saying 'Thank you for being our flower girl' I love personalised things. xx

I was looking at some bath fizzers last night that look like sweets and cakes that i thought would look nice wrapped up and sitting inside teacups i'm using at my tea party, but it can be overwhelming with all the choices, and some are really pricey. I did see on e bay survival kit for mother of the groom which i will probably get for h2bs mum. Have fun looking! x

make your own. We are giving alcohol favours along with a box of 5 home made sweeties. (5 is the traditional number of sweeties to give). I am gonna make squares of: white chocolate fudge, coconut ice, chocolate truffle dipped in hazelnuts, iced french fancy and Mil2b is gonna make tablet.
If I opened up a little box at a wedding and found it full of gorgeous home made goodies that looked and tasted divine I would be over the moon!
along with that the girls are getting tequila rose cocoa, and the guys are getting jack daniels. All Miniatures. the top table girls are getting sparkling rose and the guys a single malt miniature.
the booze is costing £99 and the sweeties will be about a tenner! job done. (for 50 people)

I've got small votive yankee candles called 'Wedding Day' for my guests and i'm getting small chocolate hearts wrapped in pink foil to go in pink organza bags.

We're thinking of cadbury chocolate but we're gonna put a gold wrapper inside one a la Willy Wonka and the person who finds the golden ticket will win a bottle of bubbly. We may have more than one and I haven't though about the practicalities of it yet but it shouldn't be too hard if we get choccies with slide off paper wrappers.

the bay of e is great for wedding favours from the little organza bags or boxes to the chocolate dagrees or sugared almonds. i really like the idea of a candy buffet, but i also want to put something of the table to help with the table decorations. i'm thinking wooden roses with a personalised ribbon with our names and wedding date on it. but i do like the idea of donating the money to charities to.

I've ordered some favours from Etsy that i wanted ages ago, they are handmade cards with quotes about tea on the front from Alice in Wonderland, very prettily decorated, and a slot for a tea bag inside, so i can pick my own and sit them in everyones teacups. And getting "drink me" tags with a ribbon loop so i can hook them over the handles of the cups too! was going to make my own bath bombs or soaps, but don't want the reception smelling like Lush, gives me a headache, lol.x

Im not having anything fancy, Im getting love heart sweets with personalised labels for everyone and then some bottles of cake shaped bubbles and champagne bottle bubbles. They are quite cheap in bulk but i suppose it depends on what you want really and what your budget is. xxx
Very very happy as Mrs Erica Trow

we've got fairly basic ones to be honest.....little silver organze bags with a handful of red chocolate hearts (almost like smarties) and a couple of small packets of personalised love hearts. Wasn't really sure what to do and you can easily land up spending loads, i think for 100 people its come in at about £50, if not less than that. x x x x

We've contacted help for heroes to ask 4 suggestions on their products, thinking wristbands with a tag on to double as placenames, quick note about how the guest is important to us, as is this charity. Kids will get a gift bag with a lolly, colouring book etc.....this is the plan so far!!
