Not sure if there's already a post for this (I couldn't find one), but what is everyone doing for wedding favours?
My fiance doesn't really agree with them as we're already paying for people to be fed haha, while I do see his point, I still want something to give to people, so was wondering what you ladies were having as wedding favours just so I can get inspired please :)
Thank you! x

We actually looked at that idea Shell, but struggled to think of how we were gonna present it. Where you going to get the plastic things from the website as well? x

Yeah was looking at the getting the diy packs but the sweets for them you can only pick 2 colours and we want 3. We were also thinking of personalised love heart sweets but was at a wedding recently and they had them so decided not to. xx

We're doing sweetie jars. I have collected empty baby food jars and used them so it's worked out really cheap :)
We're having a sweet table so that's why we opted to not having something sweet to give away. I'm thinking miniature alcohol with a little note that says "take a shot we tied the knot", but would that be a bit weird? x

I like that idea Jo, but it would be worth checking with your venue that they will allow it. Some venues will say no to alcohol, some will charge you a corkage fee, and some will be completely fine with it!

No that sounds good. We are also having a photobooth so that will be a reminder of the day as well xx

Oh my god Flossie I didn't even think about that! Thank you! I'm gonna call our venue now, I know they charge corkage if we were to bring our own alcohol, but didn't even think about mini one's counting for some strange reason. Looks like it might be back to the drawing board for favour ideas! x

We are just getting some little chocolates and putting in boxes. We were given the boxes and if not would have used organza bags as they are cheaper. We want to give something but don't have the budget for something fantastic. I loved the idea of miniatures but our venue wouldn't allow us to bring any alcohol onto site and were too expensive for our budget.
We have talked about doing a charity donation as well.

I have never been to a wedding and taken something home with me. I dont know if its a dying trend or a trend thats just starting...? Either way we have paid for a characturist so our favours will be a sketched drawing for them to take home.

We had heart shaped shortbread biscuits. They were iced and had our names and the date of the wedding stamped in the icing. We had a train carriage at our venue (a goods shed at a railway museum) and we had little packets of love hearts on the tables. SIL had little bags of jelly beans and my Sister had a cup and saucer with a tea bag in, as she had an afternoon tea theme. My Stepsister had love hearts in a little plastic heart shaped box.

If you don't mind me asking Charlotte, where did you get the heart shaped biscuits from? x
