I'm supposed to be going to a wedding fair tomorrow and one of my best mates was going to come with me. She now can't come as she's really ill (She's cabin crew and fell ill on Tuesday when she was on her stop-over and reckons it's gastroenteritis :-s ).

This wedding fair had an offer on - brides go free with one paying guest, and because it was cheaper to book, I booked her ticket for her and offered to pay (no quibbles over that - she would have to pay double to get up into London and because I invited her, I thought it was only right I paid!). Basically, I've now asked another friend to come with me but she hasn't replied yet and if she says no - is it wrong to go on my own?!?! H2B can't go as he's working and then going to the football (which has been planned for ages so fair enough!).

I really wanted to go and get some quotes on stuff like photography etc as that's our next big thing to get sorted as the venue/date is almost there. Is it weird to go on my own to a wedding fair?? Sorry if this a stupid/pathetic question lol. I don't really like going to big things on my own cos I feel self-conscious, but if others do it, then I won't feel uncomfortable going on my own lol.

I went to one last weekend on my own and tbh I enjoyed it more - I looked at what I needed to look at and didnt have to answer to anyone

Ahhhhh, it's the big 1 in London isn't it? I would soooo have come with you, as I really wanted to go, but we're meeting a potential photographer tomorrow x

Update: I'm so annoyed! Woke up this morning and have sore throat, my voice is going, feel dizzy and got a headache that refuses to go! So am currently holed up on the sofa with the duvet feeling sorry for myself :-( Was so looking forward to it! After all that yesterday, I've had to cancel on my friend now! Grrr!! Is this the definition of irony?! x
