I am soooooooo excited, we are going to a wedding fair at our venue this weekend. Not actually seen it in the flesh set up for a wedding :) We are taking all the bridesmaids and the photographer with us, its going to be one hell of a day.

My MIL2b wasn't as impressed with my venue as me and h2b were but we couldn't give a stuff. Its my venue, not hers. All that matters is you love it! Have a great time hun x

Yeah - dressing the room, red carpet out, staircase dressed, having all kinds of supplies, free bubbly - what more could I ask for? heehee.
(Ps - our venue is a hotel and they put the red carpet out in the foyer to the staircase and our room is at the top of the staircase (exclusive for us!) Woo... I'm gonna take lots of photos I think, can't wait!

Yeah thinking exaclty the same. My friend has silk flowers last year and you couldn't even tell. Was thinking the same about using bouquet for signing reg and on cake table. Don't want a top table display either.

Two wedding fairs done. Met a DJ that we were happy with (not cheesy or slimey at all and a good price - £325) and booked our chair covers for an amazing £1.99 each! She even knocked £5 the top table swag and gave us double bows on the top table free!

Unfortunately, we had to go with the Lycra chair covers because our venue's chairs are too big for the linen ones (they are taller and wider than standard and nowhere, and I mean NOWHERE, did linen ones to fit). Once I got over the fact that I had to have the Lycra ones (which apparently fit better anyway, stay neater and, according to one woman, photograph better???) I just thought it was a great price so book it.
Would have preferred linen though, but the top doesn't fit :o(
Oh well, the cost has cheered me up!
