I tried on a few dresses a couple of weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with one BUT it was £900 (which is far too much!) and I'm not getting married till 2012. So left the shop and have been dreaming about it ever since, today however I find the exact same dress, on bay of e, brand new still with tags on for £400, what should I do? Is it too early to buy a dress? Shall I try on a few more first? Aaargh!!

If you've got the feeling then its the one. Think about size and price though.

i haven't had that feeling about any dress yet and i've tried about 18! If you feel that strongly, you should get it for sure!

If it's the one your heart is set upon then totally grab it now babe, fate moves in mysterious ways and you must have been meant to have it.
CommentAuthorMonicaGeller
it could be a sign that you were meant to have it
(and if you go off it (doubt you will though) you just resell it on the bay :)
CommentAuthorfelicity.h

hi, i only get married in 2012 and i put a deposit on mine at the weekend! i love it, ive only been to two bridal shops bt the second one i tried on at the weekend was awful so i went back the 1st shop, tried it on again and bought it! its the type i have wanted for years and since trying it on last weekend i could just not take my mind off it so i know its the one and when i saw another woman looking at it i know it was the one MORE lol xx

Haha! I know what you mean it's already 'my' dress in my head - can't have anyone else having 'my' dress!

Go for it you can always sell it if it doesn't fit etc. Plenty of other people would jump at the chance to get it. Either that or you could always have it made up by Ann or Netta from China for probably even less. The girls on here have done nothing but praise her for their dresses. If you send them a pic of it they can recreate it at a fraction of the price. I just wish that I had know how good they are before I brought mine!

£400 is a steal - if you can afford it why not get it. That way you are spreading the costs too x

if you love it go for it :)

agree with others, fate has stepped in!! x

Well I decided not to go for hte dress for a few reasons, 1. I would not be able to go dress shopping again and I loved it!! 2. Two years seemed like a long time to store it and I was worried it would go out of shape/get damaged. 3. I would have had to put it on my credit card and I've been paying it off for the last two years.
Thanks for your replies, I think I just got majorly excited and carried away but then my head stepped in!

Yay I have put a deposit down on my dress today - so excited!! Ended up not even being the one I went in to put a deposit on! Had a quick look in their sale rail and found the most gorgeous dress less than half price and it fitted perfectly - no alterations needed, so lets hope I stay the same till September now.... :-)
