I called my wedding dress supplier yesterday and realised that i hadnt ordered a hoop for my dress, so ive just had a look on the bay and i found one that i think would be ok.
I dont want my dress to be too puffy and sticky outie so ive opted for a 2 hoops underskirt, do you think this would be ok?
Here it is;

Yeah def! I just had one hoop and it didnt really do much - but I only wanted it to be able to walk probably without the layers sticking to my legs lol. But I think that one will give yours that little bit of definition you're after

i think the 2 hoop is the right choice for your dress i was looking at hoops from that seller let me know what they are like if you order form them. the quality looks good from the pictures and its a uk seller which i prefer too xx
I'm quite daunted by all this hoop talk, this isn't something I had thought about... in fact I didn't realise women still used hoops till I saw people talking about them on here woops felt a bit sheepish lol

Ditto FitchMcCombe - I am completely clueless on this one. Do dresses not come with them? I thought the princessy dresses (which is what I'm looking at) kinda were designed with them already? Didn't know you had to buy them seperately.

Yeah Antonia9 I think that one will be fine! I still do not have a hoop for my dress yet! keep looking online but cant find one in my size. Also they are so expensive for a bit of net that no one will see lol! Found one on bay of e but it is currently out of stock, so hoping they are back in soon! When I asked the ladies in the shop if i really needed one they said yes that it makes the dresses sit a lot better and that it also keeps your dress a suitable distance from your feet and helps prevent you tripping and standing on the front of your dress! x
Mrs Marr 2 b!!! Can't blooming wait!!
10-11-12 can't come quick enough :)

thanks ladies.
Ladies - dont worry you wont be the only one clueless about the hoops, i was too! some of the dresses may have the hoops built in?? mine is just an A-Line style dress, not princessy at all so im not sure about that one....
MrsMarr2b - that is exactly what im after, just something that brings the dress out enough for me to be able to walk without falling flat on my face lol.
Krissy905 - i will let you know what the quality of the hoop is like as soon as it arrives, but the seller has excellent feedback so im hoping its bloomin good! lol

Hey Han what was the quality like?

My hoop looks good considering the price. Havnt tried it on with my dress only a maxi dress so far and it needs a little reshaping closer to the day as it looks an oval shape atm from being folded up.

It looks fine, I've got a one hoop one and it takes my dress out enough for me.

I need to check with my shop what I tried my dress on with, I think i used a 1 hoop the first time, and a two hoop the second time and it was much better. then I'll either ask to buy hers (shes closing shop) or buy one one the bay.

i always prefered the dresses i was trying on with the hoop rather than without. The dress i ended up with actually has a hoop built in.
Your hoop looks fine in the pic x

I'm going for a three hoop underskirt, is that enough for the princess look? Ive seen one on the bay.

Hi ladies, sorry not been on here for a while, for me the netting on the outside was too much so I am looking for a different one. x
