Not too sure if this is a bargain, but more of a bit of advice that has worked for me. When I found the "dress" I was a tad sad that I had to squeese my size 18 into a size 12 and so I wanted to actually try on a dress that was my size and see if it still had the WOW factor from the back and I wanted to walk about in it.
I went onto the designers site, Veromia, to the list of stockest. I sent a mass email to around 20 of them asking if they had the dress in stock in my size. I also asked for how much the dress was.
From the responses I got, the cheapest the dress was, £835 and the most expesive was, £1450.
I emailed my local shop and said that I would not be back for the dress as I had found it cheaper elsewhere, she asked for the shop details and said that she would match the price.
So when you have found the "one" dont put a deposit down there and then, defo try and find it cheaper! I would have been gutted if I had paid £1450!!!

No probs - everyone has got to make a living but you know there are some that take the biscuit!
I was also pressured by one shop to put a deposit now as due to the flooding of the cotton fields to make sure that they can buy the material in time for 10 months. Another one assured me that the dress was exclusive to their shop. Yeah right pull the other one, what designer is gonna do that, unless we talking Jenny Packham etc????

well done you hun! I found my dream dress and paid £499 since the woman in the shop was having a sale she pretty much knocked £400 of the price - it just shows though that the right research, advice and shop goes a long way x
