Hi ladies, me and my h2b are struggling to pick our colours?! Our venue is a Venetian (sp!) garden marquee so its pretty neutral so no colours to clash with.
So just wondered how you all came up with your colour schemes?

I picked orange as it's my fave !! but then changed to green as my flower girl will be wearing a tinkerbell dress :D Result ! but i might still go with orange as she's a little girl and the other bridesmaids are all grown up

I picked mine based on the bridesmaid dresses I found that I liked so we're purple(aubergine) and silver as I think silver will go nice with purple. Plus H2B wants loads of traditional scottish touches so that'll go with all the thistles and purple heather x

(Sorry for hijacking the thread MrsH2be)
There are 5 bm's and didnt want to spend anymore than £90 per dress fi could help it... Would you mind putting info on my wall please girlies with Aubergine???
I am now on a mission..

Its the designer Dessy's fault, they call it Aubergine, or even one called smashing. But they are out of our price range... Cant expect them to pay that much for them.
Found a lovely dress on the site we often talk about with the ladies name... However they have sent me through email colour samples but say they dont/cant send me swatch's of the colours I want. The colour samples they have sent cannot be seen properly and look dreadful and fuzzy. I dont want to buy 5 dresses and find out that they arent the right colour as they wont/cant send a material swatch :0(
    booo!

I had the exact same problem with dress hunting - you're taking a risk cos you can't see the colour except on a comp screen. Don't think mine will be much use to you tho as they are a bit more than that but there were nice ones in Debehnams for £120, I know it's slightly over but thought I'd mention x

Karlie mine was in the sale too reduced from £260.00 to £50.00... if I was you I'd wait because you've got a whole Xmas season yet to come out and you can keep an eye on the high street stores from September time and then get them in the sales at the beginning of December!... x

    Im having aqua.......
As for the dresses in D i was looking at them for my cousins wedding, they are gorg the debut ones.... also the short ones with the rose have a shimmer to them you cant really see in the pic on the comp.

why dont you go to bridal shops and ask them do they have the colour swatches, they should have them or a dress in that colour although maybe not the right style, if you have 5 dresses i would try to barter just be up front your budget is £90 each coz you need so many, i bet most will get very close if not all way there.
