Hey girlys. I just wanted to know if anyone is having a wedding cheesecake instead of a traditional cake. We are going to make ours ourselves (with a little help from my bridesmaids mum, who is a chef) but I have just seen that our caterers do wedding cheesecake. The pictures look beautiful. Anybody toyed with the idea? or are any of you having one and how much is it? xxx

My H2B is doing the catering & my mum is making 5 or so different cheese cakes. Angelan - My mum is sorta starting a baking company soon when she gets alittle better so once she is she'll have reasonable prices ;D Xx

A cheese cake sounds a fab idea, a white chocolate one would be yummy :) I'm personally thinking of having cup cakes
My friend had one and it was lovely - I have a link to the people who made theirs if anyone wants to have a look - tasted lovely and was served up at the evening reception with pickles and crackers and fruit and stuff xxx

I was wondering that too! I googled wedding cheesecake and saw loads of pictures. There were cakes made of cheese and cheese cake the dessert you'd have with cream. Both of which I would be happy with! :0)

I think I blinked and missed our wedding!! lol

We're having a wedding cheesecake. A 4 tier one from the english cheesecake company, I think it'll be around £470.

I wanted one of the English Cheesecake company wedding cakes at first as the look sooo good but then I was worried about displaying it out of the fridge (especially as wedding is in June) so I've changed my mind and now am going for carrot cake. I love the idea though!

hehe cheesecake sounds fantastic! we're not having "traditional" fruitcake, going for a selection of 3 flavours ... would never have thought of doing a cheesecake, but it sounds like a fabulous idea!
CommentAuthortweedwedding
We're doing a wedding cake made of cheese! Although I think it would be a tough call for the h2b if it was between a cheesecake wedding cake, or a wedding cake made of cheese!

I've never heard of this before but my favourite dessert is cheesecake and we tossed a coin between this and sticky toffee pud for our wedding breakfast, and the sticky toffee won. So this could be how we get cheesecake YUM!
Thank you

I went to a wedding last year and they had strawberry and champagne cheesecake from the english cheesecake company - it was delicious! We've not decided definitely yet but it's either going to be a belgian white choc and raspberry cheesecake, a carrot cake (we both love it) or a choc indulgence of a 'traditional' cake. Thought about doing cupcakes but one of my best friends done that so I'd like to do something different (the cheesecake was at a wedding where I didnt know many people). Either way it's getting served with our buffet at night. Lovely! x
