I would definitely try wedding fairs. More chance of getting a discount too. There's no harm in going early though if you want to.

There's no harm booking now Mrs M.. I consider transport to be one of the 'bigger' things that is more likely to get booked up quickly, so if you want to secure your transport now then go for it.. if suppliers don't seem interested then it's their loss as you will just be going somewhere else!! I was speaking to various transport companies who were already getting booked up quickly for 2016 x

I agree, a lot of things are already being booked for 2016, we are meeting the wedding co-ordinator tomorrow and there is a wedding fayre at the same time. I think early booking is the way to go on the things you know you won't change your mind on. A lot of people are honouring 14/15 prices for 2016 so nothing to lose :-) p.s we have been to quite a lot of wedding fayres already, I know what you mean that people aren't always interested, it being so raw away but that seems to be changing now.x

My sister is getting married in 2016 and has a lot of things booked already. My florists has weekends fully booked too as does the transport company it's never too early to book if it's what you want.

I have also find some companies don't bother responding to emails or seem very disinterested until I stopped mentioning the date (June 2016)! They are much quicker to respond with the information I want now.
