The chef where i work made a wedding cake out of cheese for one of our directors, i looked strange but it was cool! I saw a couple in a bridal mag that had one too apparently it went down really well! personally i don't like cheese but its a good idea if you prefer savoury. I read somewhere else also that somebody had a pork pie/lattice wedding cake :D x

I wouldn't have a cheese cake myself but I have been to a wedding where they had one and they used grapes to decorate it and crackers shaped as hearts. If you don't like traditional wedding cake and you love cheese then go for it, its your day, if its off the wall then its off the wall but its your day you have whatever you want! Your guests will love it that you are being different x

havnt heard of a 'cheese' cake before but i know someone that had a big chocolate cake (not actual cake just layers of white choc made into a sculpture or something) and instead of cutting the cake you break it with a small hammer and then people just go and help themselves. i love this idea but i have a soft spot for sponge and lemon cake lol

We went round to a friends house who had a fig ball as his cheese board centrepiece it comes covered in vine leaves so looks really impressive. If you have a cake of cheese you could make your own chuckney as your favours.
