Is anyone having wedding cake boxes for guests to take away? If so how many are you having in comparison to guests I.e. we're having 140 guests but was thinking of buying only 80 or so boxes as not everyone will want to take some away or do I need more?

I think that sounds about right. We've got 148 guests and im buying 100, only because there bags and im buying in bulk so it works out slightly cheaper than buying the boxes on a so-called 'bay' site lol x

Have just done hun. There the ones i'm getting but they do lots on there. i think there averaging out at around £10 per 100 so in my option alot cheaper than my quote for boxes at £1.45 per box x

I'm serving my wedding cake for desert so no need for cake boxes and that way cake will be eaten. How ever i think you have the right amount of boxes order x

I never even considered this. Hmmmmm do I need to do it?
We will serve a lot of the cake up for the sweet during the evening buffet and hope a lot gets eaten then, also will make sure some is put aside for H2B and me so we can eat on plane on honeymoon and also freeze some to enjoy when we get back. Plus my BIL will want some (he loves cake) and family will want some too.
Oh I don't know what to do now.
