Right wedding breakfast how much should I pay we are having around 45 guests to the wedding breakfast and would like hot food but I dont want to get ripped off. I live in worcestershire area does anyone know a resanable caterer?? thank you

we're having a buffet for 135 people and thats costing us £250. OH refuses to have a sit down meal. Says she feels self conscious, i dont see the difference, we'll still be sitting down eating lol

have you booked your venue and do they do food. some venues do really good packages. my venue is £3500 for 70 wedding breakfast and 100 buffet in eve and hire of venue all day. but like sammyjo said depends on what your after x

it does change from venue to venue, my venue ranges from £20 to £40 for 4 courses or carvey is £25 to £36 depending on what food you want to eat some venues i was looking at went up to about £50
We are prob going to have it in our local cricket club so we need to bring in outside caterers we would like hot buffet and then cold buffet for night x

There are 37 of us and ours is costing just over £50s a head. We are having a 3 course sit down meal, followed by tea and coffee with handmade chocolates. This also includes 3 glasses of wine and a glass of bucks fizz to toast per person. We're also having canapes but our caterer is throwing these in for free.
We got to go for a free tasting before we booked. Having tasted the food I would say what we are paying is well worth it, the food is amazing!

i think you just need to do loads of research phone loads of companies get loads of quotes then you'll have an idea on prices in your area as prices can differ just for the area you live in.

mines £3800 for a 3 course meal for 85 ( they hav 3 options too) arrival drinks, wine with meal n champ toast,dj, 100 person buffet at night, our room for 2 nites and all the general things that comes wiv a weddin package

We have 110 people for a sit down meal. in the day. It's £100 per head and includes: - Canapes - champers/pimms on arrival at the reception - starter, main and dessert - 1/2 bottle of wine pp during the meal - champers for the toasts - 1st drink for the evening guests. - evening buffet of cold meats, cheeses and chutney
There is also no venue hire so even though it's expensive, the whole day is paid for in the one fee which we found really simple to agree to! xx

ours is £34.95 pp for sit down breakfast for 80 people then in evening £10pp for buffet but we're not getting a buffet for the total number of 120, we're doing for about half (people I've spoken to who have been there have all said they over cater anyway and alot of people aren't going to want to eat again at 7 when we're not having our breakfast till 4). We also haven't got to pay hire costs and venue fees so it's not too bad. We get champagne on arrival, 2 glasses of wine for the meal pp and champagne for toast. 3 course meal with coffee afterwards. it's costing about £3500 for food in total.
I must be crazy giving myself only 6 months!

Ours is creeping up year on year so is now 115-120 per head approx for:
glass of pimms on arrival, canapes, three course meal with lamb half bottle of wine per person glass of sparkling wine for toast evening buffet.
cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo

total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!
