HI all, We are off in a couple of weeks for our menu tasting and we can choose 2 items each for each course to taste. We were looking at this the other night and made our decisions but thing is our package tell us we have up to £45 to spend on the food and even if we select the most expensive options we still don't get to that figure unless we add a cheeseboard. Is having a starter, main, dessert and cheeseboard plus tea and coffee too many courses? Only other thing i can think is if they let us use the remaining money and deduct it off the cost for the evening buffet as was quite happy to just have 3 courses and tea & Coffee. Sorry to waffle on...

We're having a hog roast with salads and roast potatoes then dessert, coffee and cheese board. Then bacon rolls in the evening with a sweetie buffet and our cake. We're not having a starter cos we're having canapes so we thought we'd save there.x

I was planning on having a 3 course meal, starter/main and dessert, I know some places give you the option of adding a Fish course also making it a 4course meal.
You can always add some canapes/cheeseboard for when you get to the venue for nibbles before the meal?

Thanks sarah. We already have canapes as part of the package too! I think i will ask them to take the remainder off the cost for evening buffet as i really don't think people could handle all that food! x

Yes I would do that then! It would be alot of food especially as your having an evening buffet!
i think your idea of putting the leftover money to your buffet is a great idea lets hope they go for it we are having melon and a compote of berries then soup then main then dessert so i suppose if they dont go for your idea then you could add an extra starter or something xxxx

I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and had a sorbet between the starter and main. I was always against these but it was so nice and refreshing. Thinking of having one within our package now x

Hi yes we are having a three course with the offer of cheese & Biscuits as extra and then tea & coffee, seems loads!!!!
CommentAuthorjanetx71
it does seem loads we ended up with four courses then tea/coffee and shortbread but this is cause we wanted a simple menu and this worked out cheaper than most of their 3 course meal options madness but there you go lol xxxx
