Me and my partner is considering getting married abroad!
Any tips advice or stories would be great
not really sure where to start xxx

We got married in Florida and i will offer u any advice i can there are a few ladies on here who have or will be married abroad my biggest tip is do your research on all the legal bits first as some places wont let u get legally married just blessing some the licences are not recognized here so u have to get married here also and some places just don't marry people from outside their country once you have a list of places you like then look into paperwork requirements and go from there.

All we needed to get married in Florida was my divorce certificate and passports but some places need solicitors letters to prove you can legally marry etc

Once all that is done then enjoy ya planning Google wedding forums in the place you want to get married as they will have reviews on people to use like photographers etc and people they trust if you are doing it on your own and not through a travel agent.
We booked ours all ourselves with help from our venue as they were strict on copyright laws etc due to the location but i had no problems the whole day ran as smooth as silk. i use local wedding forums there to book my photographer transport flowers hair and make up.
Set up a separate email folder for all your communications and enjoy planning it xxx

We're also thinking of getting married. Vegas is our choice so far as we only want to be away for a week.
