Hi all right just found out theres going to be a huge sale next weekend at a certain nationwide bridal shop, only for 2 days!
From what i've read you take your dress with you there and then, has anyone done this just abit worried about alterations etc and not having the chance to try others. the prices start from £99 has anyone had any experience in this? or should i skip this sale and shop around for a bit till i know exactly what i want? just dont want to miss a bargain and who knows my dress could be there then again i need to be practical about it

    hi, do you mean b3rk..t3x?
My daughter & i went to one of theirs when she got married. We thought it was going to be a huge rummage finding a frock when there, but we had to say what day we wanted to go when registering and could only go on that day, think we may have even had to day what sort of time too. When we got there, it was the actual shop where the sale was, we thought it was going to be in a hotel as nothing was given away when we booked our place, there were hardly any other people, only a few dresses in the sale that were cheap and in the end my daughter got one that wasnt in the sale but we did get £100 off.
Hope this helps. Try outlet stores too as they do have some bargains. x

Yes they always do in there I find they constantly have the same dresses in there and they are way over for what they actually are! There was a few in the sale rail that was nice but either way too small or big x

There's definitely no harm in having a look!

I've appointments booked for the very start of August but just found out this week that 1 of the bridal shops is having a sale till the end of July. I'm going for a look at their sale dresses tomorrow, just because if I didn't I'd kick myself if I missed the opportunity to save some money & get a gorgeous dress. Plus it means I get a nice afternoon with my mum & 2 of my bridesmaids :)

Go for a look, but if you don't totally fall in love with any of the dresses or in any doubt at all, don't buy & shop around :) xx

Go have a look and if you get a bargain, then buying it and finding a seamstress to do the alterations shouldn't be an issue and will overall have saved you a fortune!
