What an amazing experience today was. We met our chef for the first discussion on our menu. We are foodies and really want to wow our guests with our food. We always joked when asked what we wanted - saying we would love a starred chef to make amazing food for our day - haha - no where even close to having a budget to do that - can hardly afford a fancy meal for 2 let alone 65! So we went, we spoke and we fell in love. Not only did he come up with brilliant ideas, things we loved, things we wouldn't have even imagined would be possible - he even offered up special things for the regular price. WOW. We were blown away. AND we found out he has worked for some of the top chefs - the BIG GUYS. So so so so so so so happy. He is treating us like gold already. And he is os passionate which is just making our planning that much better and so much more exciting! H2B is LOVING it! I can't wait. (and we ate at the venue off their regular menu today and the food was outstanding!) have i mentioned I am now so very excited! Horray!
To make the day even better, h2b has approved my invitation choice so the ball is rolling and a proper pace now! 168days and counting!
