Wedding Forum - We did it use to be pease now campbell...

Well we Did it me and my hubby Kevin got married on Monday 2nd of July at 12.00pm at Epping registry office.

The day before wedding was quite a good day for us we went for a carvery meal with my moh and then that evening me and my moh went to pick up wedding cake to take to the pub and kevin and his mum too the decorations to pub so that we could decorate the pub for the reception we got to the pub for 7.pm and left the pub about 9.30pm . Kevin then dropped his mum off at her house and we picked up his sister as she was staying the night with me, we were a bit mad at her though as she had had all day to get ready and was still not ready when we got there at 10.15pm and i still had so much to do that night we did not get home to 11pm. i had to put up balloons, make the beds up, write out my speech. kevin stayed at his mums the night before with his mum and his brother . By the time i finally got to sleep it was 1.45pm

I woke up at 5am morning of the wedding not though not being able to sleep through my cat tatty decided that she wanted to go out at this time in the morning even though she was not going to be let out the day of our wedding due to many foxes round our way, i tried to get back to sleep but could not so at 5.30am i decided to jump in the shower and wake myself up. When i got out of the shower i decided to start to curl my hair as it would take me about 1 hour to curl it. I then put the croissants for breakfast in the oven but forgot about some and burnt them lol . At 8.30am me and my moh and my sil2b got ready by doing make up first we were all doing our own make up then we did our hair. It was then time to get dressed i think it was 10.10am by the time we started to get me into my dress a corset back is a lot of pulling and breathing in lol . I was all ready to leave by 10.45am we had some pictures done at home then left for epping at 10.55am.

When i left my house for the registry office the rain started to come down so it was all hands on to get everything in the car without it getting ruined, then to get me in the car i had this massive umbrella and hitched up my dress and walked as fast as i could. on our way to the registry office i phoned kev’s mum to see how they were getting on and if they had left yet and she said they had not so we were a bit worried as they were meant to be there at 11.40am and it was 11.00am when i phoned them and i also didn't want to bump into kevin as he had his mum’s car as he was driving his self to the registry office .The rain was pouring down on the way to the registry office i was so scared my hair and makeup were going to get ruined

when i arrived at the registry office my mum and my youngest sister who was my bm come too see me and help me to get inside the registry office, when i got inside the doors kev’s mum and my step dad come down to see me and all said to me to come up the stairs so i said ok if kevin is out of the way i will come, i got up the first 2 steps then tripped over then i got up the bend in the step and whacked my head straight into the wall i was so busy lifting my dress at the front i did not see the wall and walked head first right into it (ouch), when i got to the top of the stairs though a lady come out and told me to go back down as kevin was coming out of the room to go into the ceremony room so this time i took the lift after all the hassle with the stairs.
when i was waiting downstairs to be called back up that is when it sunk it that i was getting married as i had no nerves in the morning or felt anything strange my mum said to me this may be because we have lived together for 4 years and with each other everyday.
I was then called up to have my short interview then it was time to walk in to the ceremony room i had my brother and sister walk in first followed by kevin's brother and sister and my moh vicky then me and my step dad we did not know whether to hold hands or link arms
we walked in to beauty and the beast theme song, when i walked in for some reason i could not look at anyone i just looked at kevin i could see he was a bit red in the face, i am a shy person thats why i don't think i wanted to see the quests just yet.

when we were saying our vows i could see kevins lip trembling and his eyes watering but i stayed ok for some reason (i felt a bit bad afterwards that i did not cry) but i could not look him in the eye properly either i was having to hold my tummy a lot to as i kept getting butterflies
when we had to hold hands and talk to each other though our hands got very hot and we were both a bit shaky
when they said we could now kiss each other we had a little kiss then my sister shouted out kiss her more lol we not really kissey people in front of our family

When we walked into the pub we were greeted by our family waiting for us near the bar all standing there we all had a few drinks and spoke to our family before sitting down for our 3 course wedding breakfast meal we had 2 choices starters prawn cocktail or veg soup main course - turkey or beef roast and sweet was either cheesecake or black forest we ate our meals at 2pm, we then did our speeches kevin went first then me and then my moh my stepdad then decided to say a few words too.

It was then time to cut the cake we cut a bit off to feed each other but knowing what kevin is like he cut a big bit and smashed it in my face as well as my mouth so i had this massive bit of cake to try to swallow lol, the floor was a mess.

After we had done cutting the cake we had our first dance we danced to your the inspiration by chicago, towards the middle of the song family got up to join us as we were not that good at dancing. we all just hung out and chatted about everyday stuff with family mixing together

At 7 pm the buffet food come out, it was nice food but i think i could have got a bit better for £100, we all got up to dance and all carried on chatting to 10.30pm, we had to leave the pub by 11 pm. when we went to leave the pub to go home it was spitting with rain again

Me and kevin had a very nice day, i would love to do it all again though lol as i find it went so quick, pics are in my album x
