Wedding Forum - We Did It!!! *UPDATE 10/07 OFFICIAL PHOTOS...

...and yes its taken that long to get my day written up for ya'll!! Don't know where the past month has gone!!
Bet you'd all given up on me...!! I'll do it anyway!!!

As I'm sure most brides say it was the most wonderful day!! I don't know how but as my Mom said I was really jammy with the weather!!
All week was cloudy & rainy... the saturday was cloudy and sunny... Sunday we woke up to beautiful blue skies, soaring sun, wonderful!! My grandma was definitely looking down on me for sure!! That was the only thing that got to me all morning, emotional to say the least!

So after a rough nights sleep..that was my last update to you!
I woke up at 6.15 with the maid of honour all calm and chilled, and excited!! We had our showers and then went to meet Dad with the key to move everything into the bridal suite at around 7am.
Hairdresser arrived at 7.30am & make up lady at 8.30am.

Obviously I wasn't started until later on but they started with my mom and MOH then my other bridesmaid (my SIL) and flower girl arrived at around 9/9.30am. Thats when the waterworks began. From my SIL.
Me I just sat on the sofa cool as a cucumber, noone could believe how calm I was. What was there to stress about? Pampering morning, shining sun, and nothing to do for 2 hours!!
Before the bridesmaids had their make up done I thought it best to give them their Thank you gifts. The 2 adults had necklaces and my flower girl the bracelet. This set my SIL off again!!
Whilst I sat watching the kids tvt (for my niece of course) we had photographer, videographer, florist, hotel coordinator, mom and dad all coming and going around me!

Then it was my turn. My hair first. I was ok. My stomach started to churn a tad and felt a bit nauseaus. It passed.
Then my make up. My stomach started backflipping all over the place. Dad came over and showed me photos of the room set up with the flowers ready for the ceremony. Wow.
Then I went into the bathroom to get into my dress. Oh wow. The stomach keeled over, my hands started shaking. Then it was time for me to walk back into the room.
Everyone gasped, which nearly set me off! We had to rush to the interview after the boys had kept her waiting whilst with the photographer so didn't get many pre wedding shots myself. Boys eh!
After the interview Dad and I walked back round to meet up with everyone before we started the procession in.
As soon as I walked round the corner I saw my MOH and my Mom and I lost it.. Tears flowing.
The music started. Mother in Law & brother in Law, then my Mom and Bro, then my FG & PB and then my MOH & BM.
Now me. I gripped hold of my Dad for what seemed like forever. I couldnt focus on anyone as was walking in, my vision blurred holding back the tears. Was so overwhelming and emotional.
We got down and held onto my Dad the whole time! He even got his hankie out at one point - some of you know that this was something I had actually thought wouldnt happen but seeing my Dad smiling and so emotional broke me!!
Vow time. Staring away at my nearly husband. Was incredible. Grinning & blubbering away like no tomorrow!! We did it.
Signed register and photos and couldn't stop smiling!!!

Reception drinks and photos were lovely, sun shining, everyone enjoying themselves, everyone happy!
Being attacked by confetti, brilliant!
My FG went and ripped her dress which i was a little disappointed in considering her Mom could of kept an eye on her a bit longer but hey ho!
We went off for our own photos, so beautiful cant wait to share!!
Meal was fab. The room had been turned around beautifully and the food was gorgeous.
All my hard work truly paid off - I know my mom was worried it wouldn't all come together after everything I had stressed over but even if I say so myself it looked wonderful.
As you can imagine, my appetite was barely there so didn't eat much but was still lovely. I was next to my main man & woman (my MOH) and thats all that mattered!
Chris's speech was beautiful, said some lovely wonderful words about my girls and myself. shucks!

After the speeches there was about a 90 min break before evening reception so I popped back to the room to tidy up and freshen up and share my first real 10 minutes alone with my new husband!!!!
He went back to see some old friends whilst I stayed back with my MOH.
I didn't realise until after the ceremony and the meal that I had forgotten to put my earrings on!!! Least that was my something new for the evening eh!!

The evening reception room was laid out again so beautifully. Everyone really seemed to be enjoying themselves. The photo booth was a huge success, I knew people would like it but can't believe just how much!
Chocolate fountain went down well too, as did our lovely Cake! some of which is still in the freezer now!
Dance floor was never empty, even if at times was only literally 2 or 3 children dancing away! The majority of my parents friends stayed out the room in main bar area to chat amongst themselves but main thing is everyone had a good time!
Some of my oldest and dearest school friends came which was so lovely, and really did rekindle our friendships!!

Our first dance was so embarassing though! Made to stand in the middle of the floor for what seemed like an eternity! Dizzy but we giggled our way through!
Cutting of the cake - amazing cake by the way. Didn't get to try any until the night after when we were at the hotel at the airport, but so worth it!

As weather was so lovely we even got some gorgeous sunset photos outside, which I cannot wait to get back! We caught a glimpse of the last shot on the videographers reel and we cannot wait to see what he has done with it!

It was the most wonderful magical day ever, and I know so many of you warned me about how fast the day would go but seriously nothing prepares you for it!! Take a moment every now and again to step back and soak it all in! Trust me!

We even had a lovely gift off of the hotel, the fire alarm at 4am the following morning. Thanks!

Despite that, it was really nice to get up in the morning and go down to breakfast with my new husband and all our family and friends that had stayed over!

I will be staying around on UKB but just want to thank each and everyone of you for the past 18 months. Helping and supporting me, advising me, chatting away about anything and everything! UKB is a wonderful place to come and meet some lovely lovely ladies (and gents) and I do feel I have made some wonderful friends on here! Long may it last! So thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, I don't think my 'sanity' would of lasted without you!

Photos - We have bought the copyright for our official photos and don't get those until our album is ready in around 3-4weeks time but will upload some unofficial ones.
Video - Our videographer emailed me on Friday to say that it will be ready within 3 weeks so thats exciting!!
Post Wedding Shoot - we opted for the post rather than pre and still waiting to see the proofs from those! Hopefully sometime this week!
