tomorrow morning we are seeing a photographer they are a married couple in the local town that I met in August.
i'm going to find the list of the questions to ask them and go from there!
Can you give me any tips on what we should be looking for when we are looking at their work?

We're seeing a photographer next weekend who's gonna take some pics of us for free as well, so we can see if we like the photos he takes of us, rather than just the pics he takes of other people. x
Yeah agreed on the look at complete weddings etc. Make sure that the style is what you are looking for too and if they have any novel ways of taking the formal shots etc rather than just getting everyone to stand in a line. Price of course is a big issue. Make sure that you get a disc of the photos even if you don't have an album as what happens in a few years down the line if you have a fire and the album is destroyed and they have gone out of business or deleted them? At least with a disc you can make copies and upload them to a drop box account etc so they are always safe.
Also make sure you like the couple and feel relaxed in their company or there is no way you will feel at ease with then pointing their camera at you. A pre shoot is also a good idea for you to get to know each other so they can get an idea of what you like/don't like. If you can take some of your face images with you to give them an idea of what you are looking for. Also nearer the time give them a list of all the must shots that you want.
