To all 2012 brides, I cannot believe that we can actually say "I'm getting married NEXT year." For ages I've just been like oh the weddings ages away...not til 2012...but now that it's officially 2011, it seems a lot closer. Sorry if this seems pointless but I just said it out loud and nearly went into shock!

im so glad i can finally say that! iv booked a lot of things already n felt like a fraud or something when they ask when th date is i always said it with guilt bcoz i felt i was probably ordering things too early but i like to be super organised!!!

the first thing i did at midnight on NYE was say im getting married next year. so far i only have venue and registrar booked but from now on im going to be super duper organised. I CANT WAIT, im sure this year will go quick for us all as we will have things to plan and do throughout the year, yay get to book honeymoon this year!! xx

I said the same thing too!! We've also got the venue and the registrar booked. We're just talking to the venue about menu's, drinks packages and tables! We've also picked out our invites and save the dates, kind of chosen a colour scheme - main colour is purple and then either yellow or orange, depends on flowers and h2b's suit! Have also decided on favours too!! Feel very organised - just hope it lasts!! :-)

yea we are doing the menu now too, cant wait for the tasting yum yum! i have done save the dates and wasnt going to send them out just yet but have a few people coming from abroad so will be sending theres soon. have a guest list which keeps going up and up and could possibly be a few more if my friends baby plans are anything to go by lol. Cant decide on a colour just yet, i was thinking a dusky purple but also like copper and goldy colours (very light colour tones), so much to do I LOVE IT!!! xx

I'm trying so hard to be organised and get things booked as soon as I can, but some people look at you funny when you tell them ther's still 19 months til the big day! It's almost like they expect everyone to be running last minute.
I've booked the date, reception venue (decided last week I want to get married in the church I grew up in so need to see if it can be done), chosen my colours (purple and silver) and flowers (thistles, white roses and heather) and chosen what stationery I want to make (just need to make it now!).
Having my dress made for me by an award winning designer which is very exciting. Love the fact that it'll be unique to me. Only paying the cost of materials as she's my sisters friend which is even better. Choosing the bridesmaid dresses next week.
If it wasn't for the fact that we need to save like crazy to pay for it all, I'd have it all ready to go in a month!

the way i see it is the earlier you book the more choice you have, our wedding venue is very popular so we had to book it early and a saturday in the summer books fast so looking into photographers too who have reassured me that they have had a lot of interest for 2013 too so dont feel so bad about booking early, also gives you an idea on what and how much you need to save. also some people give discount for early bookings. im looking into hotels for my wedding night and the night before and a couple of places have offered me 2010 prices! x

i'm so excited my OH wouldn't let me order or do anything as he kept saying it's ages away now i can say it's next year i'm allowed :) so confused though everytime i see something i like i see something different and i like that too. i thought i at least had the colour scheme but now i'm not so sure. just have to visit our venue then i guess i'll have a better idea :)
